Curricular Practicum Training (CPT) is an opportunity for international students to engage in off-campus training opportunity that is related to their field of study. For this opportunity, I started working as a tester intern at the department of behavioral neuroscience and psychiatry at Oregon Health and Science University. I have been working there at the ADHD Lab that is under the supervision of Dr. Nigg. As a tester, I conducted child cognitive and academic tests (WISC, WIAT, WAIS IV, WRAT) and operated EEG testing and assisted with MRI visits. In addition, I administer child physiological readings and computerized tasks. I also got a first hand experience of scoring and data entry in E Prime, Red Cap, and Systat softwares.
