As a CAST Associate, I support trauma-informed refugee mental health initiatives for newly arrived Afghan and Ukrainian communities through a combined clinical and data-driven role.

• Conducted mental health screenings using validated tools (TSQ, PHQ-9, GAD-7, CRIES-8, YCPS) and facilitated appropriate referrals for adults and children.

• Supported staff wellbeing by coordinating reflective spaces and monitoring psychosocial resources for the workforce.

The ADHD Research Study (IRB 4817, 6258) is a federally funded (NIH) study of school-age children which focuses on causal mechanisms in ADHD. Some of the duties include:

​

• Conducting adult cognitive, achievement, and physiological tests with children and their parents. 

• Experience with state-of-the-art software for data entry and analysis.

• Administering child and parent cognitive and academic tests (WISC, WIAT, WAIS, WRAT, etc)

• Conducting child physiological readings and computerised tasks; scoring and data entry; 

• Other general laboratory duties in support of the goals of the study.
